MegaEdit is a tool for editing MegaCads script files. It fully supports variables and is ideally suited for making changes to MegaCads script files. In contrast to the smaller QuickEdit text editor built into MegaCads, MegaEdit sports a fully functional tree display with drag and drop capabilities for changing process parameters. It offers options for inserting and deleting processes with automagic update of references. Processes can be cut, copied and pasted into the script file via a clipboard.

The process structure of MegaCads builds up a tree like structure that can grow quite complex. Parent processes create children whose properties are referenced by following processes.
